Roseanne Park Chae Young, more commonly known as Ros\u00e9 of the famed girl group, Blackpink, is the new global ambassador for Tiffany & Co. The 24-year-old singer shared the exciting news with her 40 million (!) Instagram followers on Wednesday, April 21. She teased them with two images from the luxury jewelry company’s HardWear digital campaign\u2014which will be shared across Tiffany’s social channels this Friday, April 23. For those unfamiliar with the HardWear collection, it combines gauge links and industrial shapes, inspired by the attitude of cities around the world.<\/p>\n

The star has a longstanding love affair with the brand. “Tiffany jewelry has been a part of my life since way back in high school,” the artist told <\/span>Tatler Hong Kong<\/span><\/em><\/a>. “We [Ros\u00e9 and her friends, presumably] used to gather money to gift each other cute little Tiffany necklaces, and there was always that special excitement of receiving that classic, Tiffany Blue shopping bag.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to an interview with <\/span>Elle Singapore<\/span><\/em><\/a>,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0the “On the Ground” hitmaker was gifted her first piece of Tiffany jewelry in seventh grade. When asked to recall the specific design, she said, “I think it was some white gold earrings in the classic Tiffany charm shape that my mum got me when I pierced my ears for the first time.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“To be part of an iconic brand that has been part of my life for a long time makes it that much more special to me,\u201d the performer said in a press statement. \u201cI am very honored and excited to be a part of the HardWear campaign, and I can\u2019t wait for everyone to see it.\u201d Ahead of the campaign’s official launch, take a look at the images shared on Ros\u00e9’s Instagram feed below.<\/p>\n
