What\u2019s with all of these ridiculously good looking A-list celebrities deciding they want to date us mere mortals in 2020? First, there was the news that Brad Pitt has been quietly seeing 27-year-old model Nicole Poturalski for the past nine months<\/a>, then there\u2019s Zac Efron meeting his current girlfriend while she was working at a Byron Bay cafe – I can\u2019t<\/a>, and now Katie Holmes has been seen snogging a Soho restaurateur all over New York City.<\/span><\/p>\n

While it\u2019s all well and good that celebs get back on the dating scene, especially the likes of Holmes and Pitt who\u2019ve had it rough, what they don\u2019t realize is that when they swoop to our level, they\u2019re going to cause one hell of a scene. Case in point: Poturalski, Pitt\u2019s partner, was – or still is (there are rumors they\u2019re in an open relationship<\/a>) – married to the father of her child, Roland Mary, at the time that they met on his <\/span>Once Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood<\/span><\/i> press tour last year. Moreover, Pitt and Poturalski literally met at a restaurant owned by Mary (probably not the way he thought that celebrity visit was going to go).<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, unfortunately, it looks a lot like Katie Holmes is in a similar sticky situation with her new beau, Emilio Vitolo Jr. Take a seat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Until very, very recently, Vitolo, who\u2019s the co-owner and chef of swanky, celebrity-loved restaurant Emilio\u2019s Ballatowas, was engaged to his live-in fianc\u00e9, Rachel Emmons. Despite being engaged for 18 months and sharing a very<\/a> cute puppy together, Vitolo reportedly dumped Emmons through text (!) just before the first PDA-packed photos of himself and Holmes went public.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
