If diamonds are a girl\u2019s best friend, Kim Kardashian is very<\/i> popular.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post, the reality star showed off her brand-new necklace that\u2019s reportedly encrusted with about 100 carats of the jewels. The stunning custom-made sparkler, designed by Jay Feder Jewelers, reportedly is worth as much as $150,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With all that ice around her neck, Kardashian, 40, will likely have to rely on an odd secret process she goes through before accessorizing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf anything cold touches my body, I shake, so I try to blow dry jewelry before putting it on!\u201d she\u2019s said, explaining that if she gets the chills she has them all day, but when her pieces are warm \u201cthey warm me up too.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kardashian\u2019s new necklace is gorgeous, it\u2019s not exactly practical for everyday use \u2014 unlike her favorite go-to accessory.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think every girl needs to have a hoop. I love hoop earrings. You can dress them up or dress them down. I’m obsessed with them!\u201d she\u2019s said. \u201cI think I’m pretty over the top, so a hoop would be\u00a0my<\/i>\u00a0jewelry staple.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kardashian posing while wearing the Jay Feder necklace comes almost five years after she was robbed of over $10 million of jewelry, including a $4.5 million Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, while attending Fashion Week in Paris.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to legal documents, alleged heist mastermind, Aomar Ait Khedache later said Kardashian was an \u201ceasy target\u201d since during the October 2016 trip she revealed details about her jewelry and personal details on social media, such as when she arrived in the French capital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The night of the robbery, Kardashian was alone in a short-term luxury apartment rental when Khedache and his accomplices broke in, tied up the star and fled with her jewelry, which the thieves reportedly melted down or sold off.<\/p>\n
