The latest designer beauty collaboration is here, with cosmetics giant L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris<\/a> announcing that it has teamed up with Elie Saab<\/a> for an exclusive makeup range. The brand \u2013 which has engaged other fashion houses such as Balmain<\/a> and Karl Lagerfeld<\/a> for similar partnerships in the past \u2013 has consulted with the Lebanese designer to bring a touch of his namesake label to the beauty realm.<\/p>\n

The range includes several shades of lipstick, as well as a number of creamy lip glosses and a mascara, all dressed up in luxe pastel packaging that echoes the feminine feel of the ELIE SAAB brand. “My goal has always been to make women look beautiful and this collection allows me to bring an array of products to fit into women\u2019s lives; helping them to feel more elegant and confident in their everyday,” Elie Saab said in a statement about the collaboration.<\/p>\n

The designer, who is famed for his floaty haute couture confections that have been seen at red carpets and royal weddings alike, chose to finish the packaging in eye-catching gold lettering. The lipsticks also feature considered detailing within each tube, with the bullet pressed to appear as if it were made of snakeskin.<\/p>\n

“More than just a fashion collaboration, the launch of this collection during such unprecedented times will be a way for L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris and ELIE SAAB to bring optimism, beauty and self-worth; an accessible way for every woman to indulge in a little escapism and experience the strength that comes from beauty,” said Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, the Global Brand President of L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris.<\/p>\n
