On Sunday, April 4, Rihanna<\/a> went incognito <\/span>protesting against AAPI hate<\/span><\/a> in New York City<\/a>. Rihanna\u2019s assistant, Tina Truong<\/a>, captured their experience, from making posters together to mingling with fellow protesters on Instagram. \u201cThis is what solidarity looks like! <\/span>#stopaapihate<\/span><\/a> #stopasianhate<\/span><\/a> #callitahatecrime<\/span><\/a>,\u201d Truong captioned a photo dump, including a video of Rihanna dancing in the street during the protest holding a \u2018Stop Asian Hate\u2019 sign. Truong also posted a photo on her Instagram Story of Rihanna bent over a large, bright-green poster board, writing bold, capital letters, “Hate = racism against God!”<\/span><\/p>\n
