Since his imprisonment and subsequent death, the financier&#8217;s New York Mansion &#8211; one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/business\/real-estate\/story\/2021-03-11\/jeffrey-epsteins-former-new-york-mansion-sells-for-51-million\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">largest private residences<\/a> in Manhattan &#8211; has been sitting empty waiting for a buyer. A <em>brave\u00a0<\/em>buyer.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/03\/22\/realestate\/jeffrey-epstein-nyc-mansion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The New York Times<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>reports that Michael D. Daffey, a former Goldman Sachs executive, and his wife, Blake Daffey have purchased 9 East 71st Street. City records reveal the mansion was sold for $51 million. It had initially entered the market in July 2020 at $88 million.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is Epstein&#8217;s former home likely haunted with dark energy, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/2019\/08\/the-creepy-dcor-in-jeffrey-epsteins-nyc-house.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Cut<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>has listed a number of bizarre features that made up the interior design of the space. (Photo by Bill Tompkins\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/03\/22\/realestate\/jeffrey-epstein-nyc-mansion.html\" target=\"_blank\">the report<\/a>, a spokesman for the Daffeys, Stu Loeser, has enlisted interior designers Timothy Haynes and Kevin Roberts to renovate the place. It is expected to take 18 months. Hopefully that includes cleansing the huge building by <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/jennifer-aniston-2020-advice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">burning sage<\/a> in every corner. Though we fear that may not be enough to expunge the fact that Epstein allegedly housed underage victims in the space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first order of business is a complete makeover \u2014 physically and spiritually,\u201d Mr. Loeser told the\u00a0<em>Times.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The building is 50-feet wide and seven-stories high, boasts 28,000-square feet of interior space and houses a massive 10 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and a two-story reception area.<\/p>\n<p>Funds from the sale of the house are believed to be distributed to a compensation program for the victims.<\/p>\n<p>Good luck to the couple.
