Get ready because one of TV\u2019s funniest and best dressed women is coming back to the small screen. On April 1, the beloved CBS 90s sitcom, <\/span>The Nanny<\/span><\/i>, will be available on HBO Max<\/a> to stream all six seasons<\/a>. The series follows Fran Fine, a character loosely based on co-creator and star Fran Drescher\u2019s life growing up in New York<\/a>. The 30-minute comedy follows the fashionista from Queens who gets a job nannying for three children in Manhattan.<\/span><\/p>\n

On March 23, Drescher announced on Instagram that The Nanny<\/em> will hit the streaming service next month. \u201cI\u2019m constantly experiencing how current it remains, particularly with the millennials,\u201d Drescher <\/span>told <\/span>Entertainment Weekly<\/span><\/i><\/a> last year. \u201cI\u2019m very aware of the Fran and The Nanny<\/em> accounts. We\u2019re doing <\/span>The Nanny<\/span><\/i> musical on Broadway. It was an amazing thing, and it\u2019s the gift that keeps on giving.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m delighted that the look of the character has become so iconic,\u201d Drescher <\/span>told<\/span> EW<\/span><\/i> last year<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI think Brenda Cooper who styled and designed the show is a phenomenal talent. I don\u2019t think they saw my character dressing so well when they thought of the show.\u201d She continued, \u201cbut when they offered it to me it was like, If we\u2019re gonna get Fran Drescher, it\u2019s a whole package. I can\u2019t look like some kind of middle age frump. That\u2019s not my thing.\u201d Fran Fine\u2019s style was often <\/span>draped in classic 90s mega designers<\/span><\/a> such as Moschino, Todd Oldham, Nicole Miller, and Herve Leger.<\/span><\/p>\n
