Billie Eilish<\/a> has officially ditched her signature neon green-and-black locks in favor of a platinum blonde hue. The star surprised fans by sharing her striking new look on Instagram, which also saw her hair cut into a shaggy, layered style with curtain bangs framing her face. After teasing the change, the Everything I Wanted<\/em> singer posted a video to her Instagram of her showing off her new hair, captioning it, “Did you guess correctly?”<\/p>\n

Eilish had previously told fans of her intentions to change her trademark style in 2021, which is characterized by acidic green roots that fade like dip-dye into inky black lengths. During an Instagram Live back in December, she told fans a new style was imminent after the release of her documentary, The World’s A Little Blurry<\/em>. “I’m changing it after the doc comes out,” she said. “It will be the end of an era. I’m going to give you a new era.”<\/p>\n
