Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are dealing with the worst thing that could happen to a parent: the loss of a child. After Teigen was hospitalised due to complications with her third pregnancy, she later shared a heartbreaking post to Instagram saying that the couple had lost the baby, a boy they had named Jack. <\/span><\/p>\n

Following the post, thousands of people shared their support for the couple, including celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Channing Tatum and Hailey Baldwin. \u201cWe\u2019re always here for you and love you guys so much,\u201d Kardashian wrote in the comments of Teigen’s Instagram post. Gabrielle Union added, \u201cWe love you guys so much and we will be here for whatever yall need. Always.\u201d Bieber wrote, \u201cI’m so so sorry,\u201d \u201cThinking of you and John, praying for you guys and sending you so much love during this time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But others took it upon themselves to take a stab at the grieving pair for sharing their news publicly, despite Teigen being famous for being unfiltered and honest with her fans, the fact that if she didn’t share her news, the media would, and, more importantly: how common miscarriage and stillbirths are for women worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn\u2019t enough. . . We never decide on our babies\u2019 names until the last possible moment after they\u2019re born, just before we leave the hospital.\u00a0\u00a0But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack.\u00a0\u00a0So he will always be Jack to us.\u00a0\u00a0Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. . . To our Jack – I\u2019m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn\u2019t give you the home you needed to survive.\u00a0\u00a0We will always love you. . . Thank you to everyone who has been sending us positive energy, thoughts and prayers.\u00a0\u00a0We feel all of your love and truly appreciate you. . . We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we\u2019ve been able to experience.\u00a0\u00a0But everyday can\u2019t be full of sunshine.\u00a0\u00a0On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out.
