Appearing in an interview with <em>Good Morning America,\u00a0<\/em>the mother of two has revealed how she has instilled confidence in her daughters, Malia, 22 and Sasha, 19. And it&#8217;s advice we could really use ourselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span class=\"quotation-style\">&#8220;I always have wanted them to start practicing the power of their voices very early on,&#8221; Obama said. &#8220;What I hope they learn is that who they are right now is enough.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you sit around the dinner table, me and Barack [Obama], we can&#8217;t get a word in edgewise, and we like it like that,&#8221; the 57-year-old revealed. &#8220;We want to hear their thoughts and their opinions, and that&#8217;s where it begins.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MichelleObama?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">@MichelleObama<\/a> tells <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RobinRoberts?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">@robinroberts<\/a> she hopes her daughters learn from her story that, \u201cwho they are right now is enough. Obama has written a number of books including best-selling memoir, <em>Becoming, <\/em>is the host of\u00a0<em>The Michelle Obama Podcast ,<\/em>and runs a production company with husband Barack. Last month it was revealed that Malia would follow in her mother&#8217;s writing footsteps and will join Donald Glover in the writing room <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/malia-obama-donald-glover-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for an upcoming film<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Obama has been honest in the past on how she has tried to raise her children &#8211; particularly within the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the things that I had to learn how to negotiate was creating these boundaries with my kids in the White House,\u201d Michelle told her family. \u201cI mean, you talk about being raised in a totally different world than I ever knew?
