Kim Kardashian has been repping a lot of Thierry Mugler\u2019s archival pieces of late. Indeed, with its boudoir sentiment and directional deshabille spirit, it\u2019s no wonder the exhibitionist has been drawn to them. But we think she might really like Mugler\u2019s newest collection, too. Keeping very close to the contours of a woman\u2019s body, this new-era Mugler circled back to Thierry\u2019s womanly form: exposed, overt, seductive.<\/p>\n

Designer Casey Cadwallader seemed to finally relish the innate provocation of the house; veering it back into the fast lane via near naked dressed, pockets of sheer mesh and cut-outs to shock even Kardashian. Cutaways seemed to be his thing. Even beyond their most overt expression – that Bella Hadid dress – there were delicate slithers of skin even on his most conservative pieces. And when skin was entirely sheathed in caramel leather for example, it bore a sultry molded like quality, almost appearing like a breast plate. The nipple was also freed, enjoying a seemingly free reign down the catwalk, it echoed female liberation and the right to be unapologetically sexual.<\/p>\n

His tailoring – particularly with precise leather suits and sculpted corsetry – proved his talent extends well beyond debauched dresses and elevated fetish, a marvel to behold.<\/p>\n

But the sex was too strong to resist, particularly for the hot young things of today who will likely flock to it like a sexy moth to a very hot flame. We definitely see Kendall or Hailey or Emily Rata wearing these pieces in the not so distant future. And of course Kim Kardashian, who will relish its extrovert spirit, the dangerous cut-outs, the pubic high splits. Remember she has Skims made just for that.<\/p>\n
