Late last year, Beyonc\u00e9 Giselle Knowles-Carter<\/a> told her fans she was giving herself permission to focus on her joy and the internet went nuts. What did this mean? Was Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> retiring? No, she\u2019s just evolving \u2014 and apparently dropping Ivy Park collections<\/a> back to back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI came into the music industry at 15 years old and grew up with the world watching, and I have put out projects non-stop,\u201d she told <\/span>British <\/span>Vogue\u2019s<\/span><\/i> editor-in-chief Edward Enniful<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI released <\/span>Lemonade<\/span><\/i><\/a> during the Formation World Tour, gave birth to twins, performed at Coachella, directed <\/span>Homecoming<\/span><\/i>, went on another world tour with Jay, then <\/span>Black Is King<\/span><\/i><\/a>, all back to back,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s been heavy and hectic. I\u2019ve spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how. Now, I\u2019ve decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
