Unbeknownst to the public until now, Paris Hilton<\/a> spent this past Valentine’s Day celebrating her engagement to her partner of one year, Carter Reum. In an Instagram post, Hilton revealed Reum, a venture capitalist, had proposed on February 13th while the pair was vacationing on a private island together.<\/p>\n

“When you find your soulmate, you don\u2019t just know it. You feel it.” Hilton wrote, alongside two photos showing the pair embracing while wearing matching whites. “My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee,” she continued.<\/p>\n
