The thought of dating an aspiring actor who lands a Netflix show which happens to go on to become the most watched in the streaming platform\u2019s history, simultaneously propelling that actor from \u2018aspiring\u2019 to \u2018really, really famous\u2019 is my literal worst nightmare. But that\u2019s exactly what happened for <\/span>Bridgerton<\/span><\/i><\/a>\u2019s lead actor, Rege-Jean Page and his longtime girlfriend, Emily Brown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Until the weekend, no one knew much about Page\u2019s love life, but many who watched the popular period drama assumed he was single. In fact, there were even rumors that he was dating his co-star and on-screen love interest, Phoe<\/span>be Dynevor, IRL. But on Valentine\u2019s Day, Page was spotted leaving his North London home with Brown, who he embraced on the street before getting into a car headed for New York City (it was later announced that he would be appearing on <\/span>Saturday Night Live<\/span><\/i>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the photos taken by The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, Page and Brown hug before he gets into the car, with one photo showing him holding her face and looking into her eyes. Fit for London’s winter weather – a beautiful -2 degrees on Sunday – Brown wore grey sweatpants, boots, and a big puffer jacket.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So, who is the woman who\u2019s stolen Hollywood\u2019s next big thing\u2019s heart?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brown isn’t famous, she’s a freelance writer and soccer player\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Refreshingly, Brown isn’t in the entertainment industry. When she\u2019s not playing soccer for South-West London team, FBB Warriors, the 30-year-old is a freelance writer who does copywriting for brands, such as Nike, Converse, and Uber, according to <\/span>The Daily Mail<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The couple own a house together\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Though it\u2019s unconfirmed how long they\u2019ve been together, Page and Brown are serious enough to not only be living together, but to own a house together, which they bought late last year in North London.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brown went to Manchester University\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> also found an interview Brown did with Manchester University student publication, The Tab<\/em>, where she talked about her experience at the school. “I managed to sneak a giant vase, about 75 cm [30in] tall, from a club without anyone noticing, even though there were flowers poking out of it. I also decided I wanted curtains for my room so I stole a blind,” she said in the piece, adding, “and a guy from the band, Faithless, gave me a load of weed once when I was in Ibiza.” We love her already.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Page and Brown keep their relationship off social media\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Brown hasn\u2019t appeared on Page\u2019s Instagram account, which he usually uses for work and which, since Bridgerton <\/em>aired, is now followed by over 4.8m people.
