Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty<\/a> cosmetics are among the few products that sit pretty on my vanity, having escaped the overcrowded confines of my makeup bag. It’s clear that the 28-year-old wanted her makeup line to be equal parts chic, easy-to-use, and high-quality. It worked\u2014her products have a dedicated following of 2.2 million Instagram followers and counting, plus a steadily growing number of Sephora shoppers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As made evident by the fact that my Rare Beauty products double as decor, I’m a fan myself. That said, I’m no stranger to keeping tabs on the brand’s social media, where Gomez occasionally posts tutorials using her products. On Tuesday, February 9, my Instagram notifications alerted me that Gomez shared her everyday makeup routine<\/a> while getting ready to film her HBO Max cooking show,\u00a0<\/span>Selena + Chef<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Disney Channel alum calls the look “natural” because she skips eyeliner and eyeshadow entirely. And because Gomez has fluttery eyelash extensions, she doesn’t apply mascara. To achieve a similar wide-eyed look,\u00a0<\/span>GRAZIA\u00a0<\/span><\/em>recommends coating your lashes with a volumizing formula after curling them with an eyelash curler. Below, we outline all of the steps if you want to recreate the look using the makeup products you already have at home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 1:\u00a0<\/strong>Prep skin with primer, and then dot foundation onto the cheeks, chin, and forehead. Use a foundation brush to blend.
\nSTEP 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Apply concealer under the eyes, below brows, and over blemishes. Blend with a concealer brush.
\nSTEP 3:\u00a0<\/strong>Next, dot liquid blush onto the apples of the cheeks and then blend upwards and outwards.
\nSTEP 4:\u00a0<\/strong>Lightly define the chin, apples of the cheeks, the nose, and the temples with sculpting powder and a contour brush.
\nSTEP 5: <\/strong>Apply liquid highlighter on the cheekbones and under the brow for a touch of glow and blend.
\nSTEP 6<\/strong>: Finish by lining the lips, and then apply your favorite shade of matte lipstick.<\/p>\n
