Thankfully though, the vicious black hole of a news cycle isn&#8217;t all there is. There have been improvements in some locations, reduced infection rates, and also a huge outpouring of support from businesses the world over. Beauty is one such industry that&#8217;s extended a helping hand, pivoting from normal production runs to instead churn out desperately needed alcohol sanitizers or PPE for those on the frontline. Below, you&#8217;ll find a few said brands, like MAC Cosmetics, who have pledged $10 million dollars, or Jurlique, who is working with Sydney hospitals to deliver hand cream &#8211; a tiny bit of good in what is otherwise a desperately sad time. See further details below.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: BrandonGrotesque;font-size: 18px;font-weight: bold;text-transform: uppercase\">GlassHouse<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignfull-width wp-image-172039 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Glasshouse.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<div>Glasshouse Fragrances has enlisted their in-house chemists to produce a powerful luxury &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasshousefragrances.com\/products\/lost-in-amalfi-hand-sanitiser?variant=32080756539476\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" target=\"_blank\">Lost in Amalfi&#8217; Hand Sanitizer <\/a>containing 65% ethyl alcohol, nourishing ingredients such as Aloe Vera and freshly scented with freesia, lavender, lime and moss.\u00a0 The brand has also pledged to donate 500 of these care packages to three local Sydney-based hospitals and will continue to do so in the face of Covid-19 as a small token of their appreciation for those working on the frontline.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"article-subheadline-style\">MAC Cosmetics\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_172038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-172038\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignfull -width\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-172038 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/MAC.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"754\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-172038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">M\u00b7A\u00b7C Cosmetics, Viva Glam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>M\u00b7A\u00b7C Cosmetics recently announced that its long-standing VIVA GLAM campaign \u2013 which supports organizations and programs providing essential needs and services \u2013 will dedicate $10 million toward those on the front lines helping people at higher risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. To add to the initial donation, M\u00b7A\u00b7C is asking people to join the fight from home by purchasing a VIVA GLAM Lipstick where 100 per cent of the proceeds will provide additional support to those vulnerable communities.
