In Paris, Emma Stone<\/a><\/strong> wore a longer gray jacquard jacket with a collar over her jeans, finishing the look with a Louis Vuitton bag and Khaite sandals, according to Who What Wear. The muted color keeps the pattern subtle, and the longer length makes it feel close to a light coat, ideal for transitional fall days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daisy Edgar-Jones went brighter. On October 6, at The Grove in Los Angeles, during the press tour for her Jane Austen adaptation Sense and Sensibility, she wore Mango Selection’s $270 satin Jacquard Stand Collar Jacket, Marie Claire reports. The milky white jacket has a subtle print, puffed sleeves, a flared waistband and no lapels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her stylist, Dani Michelle, paired it with ripped light-wash jeans, a white T-shirt and pointed pumps in a matching shade. The result looked dressy from the waist up and relaxed from the waist down, which is exactly the point.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jacquard fabrics get their pattern from the weave itself, not from printing, which gives them depth, texture and often a slight sheen. That richness fits fall 2026’s broader taste for opulence, which Who What Wear identifies as one of the season’s big themes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Choose your shape first. A fitted, cropped jacket like Edgar-Jones’s works best with straight or wide-leg jeans, since it highlights the waist. A longer style like Stone’s pairs well with slim or straight jeans and flat shoes.<\/span><\/p>\n
