That is the thing about Cruz at Venice this year, the drama lived entirely in the fabric. The sixteen minute standing ovation for <em>Bunker<\/em> made headlines on its own, but it was what she wore to earn it, and what she wore hours earlier just to arrive, that turned a single day into the kind of masterclass fashion students will still be studying come awards season.<\/p>\n<h1 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The Ferragamo Everyone Will Be Copying By Fall<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-116000\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/09\/penelope-cruz-venice-film-festival-2026-looks-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4128\" height=\"6192\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Hours before the tears, Cruz stepped out of the Hotel Excelsior in a black <strong>Ferragamo<\/strong> wrap dress that did more with restraint than most gowns manage with sequins, a gold clasp at the waist doing all the talking a plunging neckline usually does. She kept her accessories in conversation rather than competition, a beige Chanel bag, cat-eye sunglasses proving that some women look lit from within long before golden hour arrives. Custom <strong>Chanel<\/strong>, dreamed up by <strong>Matthieu Blazy<\/strong> in a red so saturated it looked less like a color choice and more like a decision, a floor length silhouette carved close to the body, a square neckline, a thigh high slit that arrived and left with every step, feathery embellishments at the waist soft enough to look like they might still be moving on their own. Red suede Gianvito Rossi pumps kept the whole thing grounded, diamonds did the rest of the arguing.
