Without the boot shaft, however, that utilitarian construction suddenly feels much more relaxed. It is the kind of shoe that can still handle a heavy coat in November but requires none of the commitment of lacing up an actual work boot. Timberland has also softened the proposition from the inside. An EVA foam midsole adds cushioning, while the anti-fatigue footbed is designed with everyday wear in mind. The lining uses ReBOTL fabric made with 50 percent recycled plastic.
