And according to the 2024 report from analytics firm Spate, searches around the “90s blowout” and heat-free styling are expected to grow by approximately 25%. The vintage accessory is back – and it costs only a few dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

The science behind the bounce – and the one mistake to avoid<\/b><\/h2>\n

The appeal of velcro rollers goes beyond nostalgia. They limit the damage that direct heat inflicts on keratin, the protein that makes up your hair, while still delivering a polished, high-volume finish. That combination of protection and payoff is exactly why international editorial hairstylists continue to rely on them backstage.<\/span><\/p>\n
