Rachel Green from Friends<\/em> wore one, as too Cher Horowitz, and don’t even get us started on Drew Barrymore. With the 90s well and truly steering the current state of fashion, a polo top is the indubitable power piece of 2020. The new alternative to the buttondown shirt or blouse (even band tee), a polo top is both neat and nice and offers a dash of nostalgia to any outfit.<\/p>\n

It’s also so incredibly wearable, with “wearability” a trend unto itself this season. Libby Jane Page, Senior Market Fashion Editor at fashion juggernaut Net-a-Porter<\/a> agrees. “Wearability really is one of the major trends at the moment,” she explains. “I think it’s all about coming back to that idea of being less about wearing head-to-toe trends and more about wearing amazing pieces, like a great polo neck top.” And when the powerhouse proffers the polo top as one of their must-have items for 2020, you listen, willingly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While its iterations are vast and varied – everything from tight ribbed-knits to robust sweaters, simple tees to gauzy shirts – we’re currently coveting (read: obsessing over<\/strong>) this creamy biscuit-beige cashmere polo pull-over by Khaite. Perfectly slouchy, slightly off-the-shoulder and stamped with a cute “KHAITE” embroidery, it’s at the top of our polo wish list. But, it has some polo peers, who round out this week’s Fab Five as edited by GRAZIA’s<\/em> fashion team, including a very affordable (and very nostalgic) cropped iteration by Kappa.<\/p>\n
