Yesterday, in a welcomed interruption from COVID-19 coverage, TMZ<\/em> and Entertainment Tonight<\/em> reported Gigi Hadid was pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik<\/a>. And it literally sent the world into a spin with many people wondering if it\u2019s a hoax.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old\u2019s father Mohamed Hadid was asked about his daughter’s unconfirmed pregnancy and his answer seemed a tiny bit strange. \u201cLet me digest it and talk to her first ’cause I’m not sure if it’s real or not,\u201d he said while being interviewed by Al Jadeed TV. \u201cIf she is, I’ll be very happy just as long as the baby is healthy and she’s healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat’s all I care [about],\u201d he continued. \u201cI’ll be very proud of her if she has one. As of now, I’m not sure, so that’s why I can’t give an answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The model and her father are seemingly quite close so if Hadid is indeed 20 weeks along like reports suggest, wouldn\u2019t she have told her dad by now?<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, since the news broke, Hadid has posted to Instagram but has not confirmed or denied the rumors. Instead, she\u2019s posted a story about cooking Spicy Vodka Pasta<\/a>. But – and it’s a big but – she has omitted the vodka in her version, a possible sign she could be pregnant.<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed the two strings on her birthday balloons over the weekend were pink and blue, a possible sign that Hadid\u2019s 25th<\/sup> birthday celebrations doubled as a gender-reveal party.<\/p>\n

Had the sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family, who made it so special for me, along with all the love I felt from all over the world!
