Ready, set, glam! The hottest stars of film stepped out to the 2026 Oscars<\/a> on Sunday, March 15, held at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood. Their beauty looks took our breath away, a parade of stunning hair and makeup that perfectly complemented over-the-top red carpet gowns (see the best dressed red carpet looks here<\/a>!).<\/p>\n

The Oscars caps off a lengthy awards season that started with a return to major glamour at the Golden Globes<\/a> back in January. Since then, we\u2019ve seen celebs bring the beauty to every event.<\/p>\n

Getting ready for the red carpet is an art in and of itself. For Oscars 2026, stars surrounded themselves with their glam squads, reminiscing throughout the day on their hottest moments throughout the season, whilst building their most memorable hair and makeup for the big night. Many share the process on social media, giving us a glimpse of what the final red carpet look will reveal. Kate Hudson shared some bts<\/a> with her makeup artist Tonya Brewer, getting glammed with makeup by Charlotte Tilbury.<\/p>\n

Once the red carpet was in action, there were many gorgeous looks. The most notable of which point to the beauty trends we\u2019ll be copying all Spring and Summer. Case in point: after last year\u2019s ceremony, the center-parted slick back (seen on Ariana Grande<\/a>) and mega-long locks (a l\u00e1 Demi Moore<\/a>) were some of summer 2025\u2019s top street style beauty (take a stroll down memory lane and see every Oscars 2025<\/a> style<\/a> and beauty look here!<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Standouts of the night gave a nod to Old Hollywood glamour, including modern updates on classic chignons, red carpet ponytails seen on Renate Reinsve<\/a> and Jayme Lawson<\/a>, retro-waved ‘dos such as Kate Hudson<\/a> and Felicity Jones’s, and beyond-bold red carpet red lips (we’re looking at you, Rose Byrne<\/a>!).<\/p>\n

Without further ado, behold the Oscars 2026 best beauty:<\/p>\n

Kate Hudson<\/h3>\n

The Song Sung Blue<\/em> nominee radiated glamour thanks to glowing pink cheeks and Old Hollywood waves reminiscent of the golden age of film. Hairstylist Renato Campora created the next-level look, adding interest with a unique touch: a spritz of Parfums de Marly Valaya Hair Perfume<\/a>. “I sprayed it on the brush before running through curls,” Campora says. “The sensory element matters, and the radiant aura of Valaya added to that unmistakable star-quality finish.” Makeup artist Tonya Brewer used Charlotte Tilbury products to create Hudson’s classic makeup look, kissing lips with Charlotte’s new Pillow Talk Blush Balm Lip Tints in Pillow Talk Medium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With a makeup palette reminiscent of stained glass and a flippy bob, the Bugonia<\/em> nominee was the picture of elegance. The star’s longtime hair pro Mara Roszak created “a ’90s blowout with soft movement.” She ran R\u014cZ Milk Hair Serum<\/a> and Air Thickening Spray<\/a> through mid-lengths and ends and a spritz of Root Lift Hairspray<\/a> at the roots for “touchable volume before blowdrying.” Tools from ghd were used too style the look, finishing with the Chronos Curve Grand Iron<\/a> to lock in bends and boost shine. As for the simple yet stunning maquillage, makeup artist Nina Park leaned in to products by La Beaut\u00e9 Louis Vuitton, choosing LV Ombres in 150 Beige Memento<\/a> for eyes and LV Rouge in 102 Passport to Paris<\/a> on lips.<\/p>\n

Simply stunning. The presenter wore a chic, undone updo and monochromatic rose-nude hues on her face. But her path to glowing skin and preternaturally sculpted features started way before makeup. Aesthetician Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine treated Salda\u00f1a to his signature rhythmic facial massage facial early in the morning on Oscars day. Then, while doing glam before the red carpet, the star’s makeup artist Vera Steimberg further lifted contours with the ZIIP HALO<\/a>, a unique device that uses microcurrent to depuff and sculpt features. Once they were ready for skincare, the makeup pro used a light hand, prepping her skin with Lanc\u00f4me Absolue Rose 80 Essence-in-Lotion<\/a> and Absolue Longevity Soft Cream<\/a> before perfecting Salda\u00f1a’s complexion with Lanc\u00f4me Teint Id\u00f4le Ultra Wear Foundation in shade 430C<\/a>. The chic muted chocolate eyes came courtesy of hues in the Lanc\u00f4me Id\u00f4le Caf\u00e9 Crush Eyeshadow Palette.<\/a><\/p>\n

The glamour! A punchy red pout and soft smoked eyes added a chic edge to the If I Had Legs I’d Kick You<\/em> nominee’s center-parted, slicked back bun. Her makeup pro Hung Vanngo created the look using Dior Beauty. Shades from the Diorshow 5 Couleurs palette in #073 Pied-de-Poule<\/a> defined lids. He lined lips with Rouge Dior Contour in #999<\/a> before filling in lips with Rouge Dior lipstick in #846 Concorde Velvet Finish<\/a>. For the “timeless, sleek bun,” hairstylist Harry Josh used Kerasilk products. He struck a look that married effortless elegance and and modern refinement by prepping with Kerasilk Recovery Mask<\/a> to promote “a glossy finish,” then ran Kerasilk Smoothing Blow Dry Cream<\/a> through locks before blowdrying.<\/p>\n

The One Battle After Another<\/em> nominee brought her trademark self-assured, sultry glam with a waved pixie and overlined lips. Her makeup artist Yeika Glow prepped Taylor’s pout with Chanel Sublimage L’Extrait Huile L\u00e8vres<\/a> before defining with Chanel Le Crayon L\u00e8vres Longwear Lip Pencil in Rouge Cerise<\/a>. A coat of Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss Top Coat in Icing<\/a> added sumptuous shine.<\/p>\n

The iconic actress gave glamour with a layered cut and soft pink cheeks and lips. For the stunning mane, longtime hair pro, Adir Abergel, worked with Bellami extensions to create the coif, inspired by a look the star once rocked on screen. “The inspiration for Nicole\u2019s look was the iconic blowout from Moulin Rouge with extra volume, length, bounce and shine \u2014 cascading layers framing the face with middle parted bangs,\u201d he says. He prepped locks with Virtue’s Damage Reverse Serum<\/a> and Healing Oil<\/a> as well as the Volumizing Primer<\/a> and 6-in-1 Styler<\/a> before blow-drying and then bolstering the style with Bellami Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions<\/a>. For the soft, glowing makeup, glam guru Gucci Westman used products by Cl\u00e9 de Peau Beaut\u00e9. She enhanced cheeks with Powder Blush in #103 Peach Tulip<\/a> and added a subtle radiance via The Luminizing Face Enhancer highlighter in #17 Celestial Sparks<\/a>. To “deliver a modern statement of strength and femininity,” lips were intensified with Lipstick in #14 Snapdragon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A beautiful, sculpted chignon and soft rose lips lent classic glamour to the Sentimental Value<\/em> nominee’s look. To let the spotlight shine on Fanning’s stunning Sarah Burton Givenchy gown, makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe took a less is more approach. She heightened glow with L’Oreal Paris Match Lumi Glotion<\/a> and anointed the apples of cheeks with L’Oreal Paris Luminous Le Liquid Blush in Glowy True Rose. Lips were kissed with L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Peony Pink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The One Battle After Another<\/em> ingenue stunned with mega-long braids, lavender lids and a sweet pinky nude pout. Makeup artist Amber Dreadon blended shades from La Beaut\u00e9 Louis Vuitton’s LV Ombres eye shadow palettes 450 Cosmic Dreams<\/a> and 150 Beige Memento<\/a> on eyes. For the sumptuous pout, a swipe of LV Rouge 101 Kiss the Sky<\/a> finished the look.<\/p>\n

A chic golden blonde pixie, glowing cheeks and ruby lips amped up the Hamnet<\/em> nominee’s movie star appeal. Her makeup matched her dress perfectly, which was no accident. Makeu artist Nina Park “wanted the makeup to feel harmonious.” She paired “soft, radiant skin” with a diffused red lip “to highlight her natural beauty, while maintaining an elegant and understated finish.” For the lipstick, Park used Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Liquid Lip Colour in Daring Red<\/a>. The key to cheeks? Layering Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Jersey and In Love<\/a> over pops of Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sun-Kissed Powder in Medium Coral and Medium Rose Gold. <\/a>The Best Actress winner ‘s trophy-holding hands also got a boost thanks to a coat of JoonByrd Confetti Sky Hand Cream<\/a>. Her manicurist Queenie Nguyen applied the Vitamin E-infused cream for “lasting hydration so hands would stay smooth and radiant throughout the night.”<\/p>\n

The presenter turned heads with her mega-long locks, flawless skin and soft, smoked eyes. Steady hair pro Dimitris Giannetos used Kerastase potions to add shine to Moore’s mane, applying Chronologiste Overnight Youth Hair Serum<\/a> before blow drying plus a light coat of Laque Couture Hairspray<\/a> to finish the final look. To make eyes, makeup artist Raoul Alejandre brushed on shades from Charlotte Tilbury’s Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette<\/a> paired with Feline Flick in Panther<\/a> to create the subtle smolder.
