It is no secret that patterns are suddenly everywhere<\/a>, but there is one sector of the fashion industry that they never strayed from: sleepwear.<\/p>\n

Plaids and stripes are a consistent theme in the pajama space, and now, this bedroom-born style is escaping the sheets. Seen on the recent Milan runway, Dolce & Gabbana teased the style<\/a> that will define the fashion trend of late Summer and early Fall 2025. Let’s take a look!<\/p>\n

From Lounging to Layering<\/h2>\n

D&G’s Spring 2026 collection made its debut at Milan Men’s Fashion Week in late June, and it was a vision of understated, coastal glamour<\/a>. Fuzzy indoor slippers paired against navy-and-white striped balloon pants<\/a> were driven home by sleepwear motifs. A plaid printed, salmon boxer peeked out from below the waistline of the classic navy-and-white bottoms, with the layered detail locking in the casual-comfort aesthetic \u2014 without appearing too busy. An open-stitch sweater lay on top of the luxe loungewear co-ord<\/a> \u2014 with the contrast collar as proof that layering is back, and in a bold way.<\/p>\n

Tortoise frames and an oversized, leather beach tote brought the look into outerwear territory. And as followers of all things fashion, we’re taking notes on the popularity of this sleepwear trend and its cooresponding seasonal accessories.<\/p>\n

Elsa Hosk was the face of the Sporty & Rich New British Sports collection<\/a>, where she was captured for the campaign in a light blue, button-up set by the brand. The oversized, untucked collared shirt and loose-fitted boxer shorts are on par with the dominating sleepwear trend.<\/p>\n
