Meghan Markle has seen the reactions to her viral \u2018Baby Momma\u2019 dance, and she isn\u2019t letting the backlash dampen her spirits.<\/p>\n

The throwback clip was shared on her\u00a0Instagram<\/a> on June 4, in celebration of her daughter Lilibet<\/a>\u2019s fourth birthday.\u00a0It shows a then-pregnant Markle dancing along with Prince Harry<\/a> to the song \u2018Baby Momma\u2019 in her hospital room to induce labour. She even twerks at one point, while her husband shows off his own moves in support.<\/p>\n

\u201cFour years ago today, this also happened,\u201d she captioned the post. \u201cBoth of our children were a week past their due dates\u2026 so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn\u2019t work, there was only one thing left to do! \ud83d\ude02\u201d<\/p>\n

The light-hearted moment was met with mixed reactions, with some critiquing the video for being \u2018cringe<\/a>\u2019, while others found it endearing.<\/p>\n

In a preview<\/a> for the podcast \u2018Aspire with Emma Grede\u2019, the Duchess seemed to be in good spirits nonetheless and spoke to host and Skims<\/a> cofounder Grede about why she is choosing to share the \u201creal, authentic, [and] fun\u201d moments of her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you see my \u2018Baby Momma\u2019 dance?\u201d Meghan asked the host playfully, in response to a comment about authenticity.<\/p>\n

Grede was supportive, telling Markle she did a \u201csecret little cheer\u201d seeing her share moments of \u201chappiness and honesty,\u201d particularly as she is showing sides of her that fans haven\u2019t seen before.<\/p>\n

Markle highlighted that the four-year-old footage was a glimpse into her life away from all the public scrutiny she faces. She told Grede it was \u201ca really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there\u2019s still a whole life, a real, authentic, fun life, that\u2019s happening behind the scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Duchess also expressed that she is grateful to be back on social media<\/a> and to have a place where she can share these moments on her own terms.<\/p>\n

The podcast episode is set to release on Tuesday, June 17.<\/em><\/p>\n
