Dua Lipa has confirmed her engagement to Callum Turner<\/a> following months of rumours.<\/p>\n

The signs began back in December 2024, when sleuthing fans noticed a diamond ring on the singer’s left hand in a photo posted to her Instagram page<\/a>. Since then, the \u2018Levitating\u2019 singer has been coyly flashing the band on her socials, including just three days ago in a fond Instagram post<\/a> captioned \u201cThat’s amoreeee… \u2661,\u201d featuring her fianc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

In a British Vogue<\/em><\/a> interview published this Thursday, June 12, the British singer finally satiated everyone\u2019s curiosity, telling the publication, \u201cYes, we\u2019re engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lipa, 29, told the outlet that Turner, 35, consulted her sister, Rina, as well as her best friends before having her ring made. The stunning piece features a wide cigar band with what appears to be a round cut stone set low into the gold base. We\u2019re obsessed with the departure from the long-trending delicate band to a chunkier and more substantial style\u2014and the singer squarely agrees.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m obsessed with it. It\u2019s so me,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s nice to know the person that you\u2019re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding future wedding plans, Lipa and Turner are taking things slow. She shared with British Vogue that she is focusing on her Radical Optimism <\/em>tour, while Turner works on his film projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just enjoying this period,\u201d she told the publication. \u201cI\u2019ve never been someone who\u2019s really thought about a wedding or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I\u2019m like: \u2018Oh, what would I wear?\u201d<\/p>\n

While the couple identified a few sliding doors moments where they had just missed meeting each other, the singer first officially met Turner<\/a> while she was out for dinner with her dad at The River Caf\u00e9 in London, where the restaurant\u2019s co-founder introduced them. The following year, they crossed paths again, only this time, things were different.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, it\u2019s that really hot guy from The River Caf\u00e9,\u201d she recalled thinking. In conversing, the two discovered they happened to be reading the same book at the time. Lipa cited it as a sign that the two were \u201cOne thousand percent,\u201d destined to be together.<\/p>\n
