At the 2025 Met Gala<\/a>, Rihanna turned heads for more than just her stunning ensemble, revealing an unexpected baby bump<\/a> at the event. It was a show-stopping moment, sure to go down as one of the most memorable star-pregnancy reveals, with fans both excited and surprised at the news of another addition to the family.<\/p>\n

Rihanna and partner A$AP Rocky<\/a>, who already share two children together\u2014sons Riot<\/a> (21 months) and RZA<\/a> (2 years)\u2014are now preparing to become a family of five. A close source has revealed to People<\/a><\/em> that the pair are \u201cthrilled to be growing their family\u201d and that these closely timed pregnancies are all according to plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cRihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited,\u201d said the insider. \u201cThey wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond. They feel so blessed and are so grateful for this next chapter in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the Met Gala red carpet, Rihanna, dressed in custom Marc Jacobs, spoke to Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em> about how she was feeling.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m shockingly feeling okay and not too overwhelmed at the moment,” she said. “I mean, at first it was kind of like \u2018Ahhh\u2019.”<\/p>\n

Following the busy first half of the year that the couple has had with Rocky\u2019s trial and subsequent acquittal, as well as this announcement, they are now looking to focus on their family and to settle into the pregnancy.<\/p>\n

“Rihanna\u2019s a great mum,” continued the insider. “She loves playing with the kids. He\u2019s such a playful dad, too.”<\/p>\n

For those concerned about the music side of things, there is no need to fret. When asked if this pregnancy would impact her long-awaited ninth album, the singer assured that this was not the case.<\/p>\n
