When you think of Beverly Hills, 90210, chances are you picture Jennie Garth as the original California cool girl. But real-life Jennie is far from her TV counterpart. These days, she\u2019s focused on living life on her own terms\u2014boldly and authentically\u2014while empowering women along the way. Garth shot to fame in 1990 as Kelly Taylor and become a pop culture icon. Now at 52, she\u2019s embracing her next chapter as an entrepreneur, designer, podcaster, advocate, and mom to her daughters\u2014Luca, 27, Lola, 22, and Fiona, 18.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also redefining conversations about aging, especially for post-menopausal women. \u201cI\u2019ve done a lot of changing in the last 10 years,\u201d Garth reflects. \u201cFor most of my career, I was just working, raising my kids, and surviving life. After my divorce, I finally started doing the work on myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garth has been married three times, including to actor Peter Facinelli, with whom she shares her daughters. \u201cRelationships teach you so much,\u201d she says. \u201cSometimes they end, and that\u2019s OK. You take the lessons, heal, and move on stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her transformation wasn\u2019t overnight\u2014it was slow and often exhausting. Therapy? Check. Self-help books? Definitely. Yoga and Pilates? \u201cI used to roll my eyes at it,\u201d she laughs. \u201cNow I tell everyone they need yoga in their life.\u201d Balance and wellness are her focus these days\u2014but not in a \u201cperfect\u201d Instagram way. \u201cI used to be so hard on myself,\u201d she admits. \u201cNow, being healthy means being kind to myself and listening to what my body needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garth\u2019s mission to empower women shines through her I Choose Me podcast<\/a> and her new clothing line, Me by Jennie Garth for QVC<\/a>. Both encourage women to celebrate their evolving identities with confidence, style, and self-love. Her designs reflect her relaxed, eortlessly cool style, perfect for women who want to feel comfortable while looking chic. \u201cIt\u2019s about clothes that make you feel good in your own skin,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Her message of de-stigmatizing aging and focusing on mental and physical health is resonating with women redefining what it means to thrive at every age. That message came to life at her recent I Choose Me Summit<\/a>, where she brought women together to focus on health, reinvention, and living their best lives at every stage. The event was a huge success, reinforcing Garth\u2019s commitment to inspiring women\u2014especially her own brood\u2014to embrace change.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy girls have taught me more about life and love than anything else,\u201d Garth says proudly. \u201cRaising them has been the best part of my life. They inspire me every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

With her daughters blazing their own paths, Garth\u2019s role has shifted. It\u2019s less about constant parenting and more about being their cheerleader, sounding board, and occasional yoga buddy.<\/p>\n

Her secret to raising confident, badass young women? \u201cI\u2019ve always told them to trust their instincts, stay true to who they are, and never be afraid to start over. Oh, and to never, ever text their exes,\u201d she jokes.<\/p>\n

For Garth, the future is wide open\u2014she\u2019s not putting herself in any box. Whether it\u2019s acting, producing, or something unexpected, she\u2019s rolling with it. \u201cI\u2019ve learned that change is where the magic happens,\u201d she says. \u201cLife isn\u2019t always pretty, but it\u2019s real. And that\u2019s where the good stuff is.\u201d<\/p>\n
