After 11 years at the helm of Loewe<\/a>, Jonathan Anderson has announced his departure, closing a chapter that reshaped the Spanish house into one of the most thrilling forces in fashion.<\/p>\n

Since his appointment in 2013, Anderson has masterfully fused heritage craftsmanship with surrealist design, transforming a once relatively unknown brand into a beacon of contemporary elegance and avant-garde artistry.<\/p>\n

“Over the last eleven years, I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by people with the imagination, the skills, tenacity and resourcefulness to find a way to say \u2018yes\u2019 to all my wildly ambitious ideas,” he wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>. “Looking back, I\u2019ve come to realise that a brand is not built on the first show, or even a first year of shows, it\u2019s built slowly season upon season, year upon year, on what is right for a brand.”<\/p>\n

He concluded with a promise of hope for the House.<\/p>\n

“They say all good things must come to an end, but I disagree,” he continued. “While my own chapter draws to a close, LOEWE\u2019s story will continue for many years to come and I will look on with pride.”<\/p>\n
