It is one of those genetically-blessed, iconic celebrity relationships of 2019 that still lives rent-free in my mind. Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp fans are beside themselves with rumors flying that the duo have linked up once again.

On April 7, the Little Women actor was spotted by paparazzi with a mystery woman in New York City. Photographers were unable to capture her face while she hid inside the car, however, eyewitness accounts believe it to be Depp.

“It was her,” a source confirmed to E! News. “They saw her go in an Uber to his place, pick him up and head to Brooklyn.”

The news supports several claims on social media that the duo were spotted holding hands while walking around Manhattan. Nothing is verified as of yet, but a blurry image taken by a fan is quite convincing.

The couple first began dating in 2018 and 12 months later were spotted in a PDA-fueled day out on a boat in Italy. While we may not be given the same content in the COVID era, we’re very much into this alleged rekindled love. In April 2020, Chalamet was described as “currently single” in an interview with British Vogue, quietly confirming the relationship had ended.

Chalamet and Depp were dating during the production of the Netflix original film, The King, in which they both starred.

It wasn’t the only high-profile relationship to fall victim to 2020. Long-time lovers included Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson, Elizabeth Chambers and Armie Hammer, and Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. On again, off again couple Lilli Reinhart and Cole Sprouse also called it quits much to the disappointment of Riverdale fans.

Fox is now dating Machine Gun Kelly, while Sprouse was recently spotted holding hands with his new rumored girlfriend, Canadian model Ari Fournier.

Keeping up?
