Timothée Chalamet is undoubtedly one of the most prolific figures in film and fashion at the moment. He is slated to appear Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch and Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up. In addition the actor has just completed production Bones and All (directed by Luca Guadagnino and will soon begin production on Wonka, directed by Paul King. On the red carpet, he is always a stand out.

At the Venice Film Festival for the occasion of the Dune premiere, Chalamet was announced as Cartier‘s newest Friend of the House. The partnership which will see the 25-year-old collaborate on various events and appearances is only natural, of course.

“We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with Timothée by having him officially join the Maison as a Friend of the House,” said Arnaud Carrez, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Cartier International. “As a man of passion, independence, open-mindedness and creativity, Timothée’s bold approach to life – conveyed through his professional choices and his free-spirited style – is intrinsically aligned with Cartier’s core values.”

To accompany the exciting partnership, Chalamet stepped onto the red carpet on Saturday wearing a glittering Haider Ackerman set – a favorite brand of his. Fittingly, the ensemble was paired with a 2004 Cartier vintage brooch in 18k white gold, diamonds and onyx cabochons as well as a 2017 Cartier vintage Love ring in 18k white gold, diamonds and black ceramic and, a 2005 Cartier vintage ring crafted with 18k white gold, diamonds, black ceramic.

In another huge sartorial moment for Chalamet, he will co-chair the Met Gala on September 13 alongside Naomi Osaka, Billie Eilish and Amanda Gorman.
