Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are the epitome of ‘couple goals’. Over the weekend the loved-up duo celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first date by recreating the occasion. Taking to Instagram, Lively shared a series of happy snaps from an evening at Boston Japanese restaurant, O Ya.

“If it weren’t for this place. We wouldn’t be together. No joke,” Lively wrote on her Instagram Story. “No restaurant means more to us.”

The actress later took to social media with another photo. She wrote, “10 years later. We still go out on our ‘first date’. But in much more comfortable shoes.”

Of course it wouldn’t be Lively and Reynolds without a little social media banter. The Deadpool star also posted to his stories (or should we say ‘reposted’) to troll his wife. Accompanying a selfie he wrote, “Posting this again because I cut out my wife’s cute earrings. She trained me better than this. Sorry if I let anyone down.”

It’s not the first time the duo have made fun of each other online. Lively honoured her husband for Valentine’s Day on Instagram this year with a video of Reynolds colouring her long locks. “That time I f*d my hairdresser,” the 33-year-old captioned the post. Reynolds was quick to respond by posting a slow motion video captioned with, “My forever valentine for the foreseeable future.”

Lively and Reynolds met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010 where they starred as romantic leads. They began dating a year later. The couple tied the knot in 2012 where Lively famously wore a blush wedding dress. They now share three children, daughters James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 21 months.

Reynolds recalled his first date with Lively just recently on the SmartLess podcast as reported by People. He noted that they went on a double date about 18 months later but were seeing other people.

“Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston and I said, ‘Well, I’ll ride with you.’ We got on the train and we rode together,” Reynolds explained. “I was just begging her to sleep with me.”

And the rest is history.
