Few people transcend beauty on a red carpet quite like Margot Robbie. The Australian-born actress and producer rarely looks anything less than angelic, and at the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood right now, this sentiment rings true.
It’s a very different kick-off to awards season. Instead of crowded red carpets, cultural moments and wild afterparties, the Globes are taking place more or less online, with only a handful of celebrities actually in attendance due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Robbie is on the ground in Beverly Hills because she’s presenting, thus blessing us with this head-to-toe Chanel moment from the brand’s recent Spring Summer 2021 ready-to-wear collection.
Second only to her gown was her beauty look. Robbie is no stranger to a glamorous moment, but she also has an air of laid-back coastal cool whenever she makes an appearance (she did grow up on the Gold Coast in Australia, after all). While unconfirmed at the time of writing, we’re assuming her go-to artist Pati Dubroff for Chanel was behind the makeup. Creamy skin, luminous highlighter, and fluffy lashes were on the menu, paired with a bold, smudgy cherry-red lip. A soft berry flush across the apples of her cheeks and impeccably groomed brows topped it off.
