Now look, we all have our opinions about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s relationship. Through countless snaps of public PDA, edgy outfits and the whole baby daddy comment with Megan Fox, the progression of this relationship has been… fun to watch. A public spectacle drifting away from the puritanism of today’s culture is the best way to describe it. But in reality, the opinions of the general public don’t mean much; but what about the opinions of your own sister? In her first public interview since the end of KUWTK, Kim Kardashian weighed in on the relationship.
On Tuesday, Kim, while speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, talked about her sister’s relationship with Barker, in all of its camera-worthy details. Speaking on the family, DeGeneres asked if Barker would make any sort of appearance in an ambiguous new reality project. Since KUWTK ended, Kim has kept a pretty low profile publicly, opting rather to make appearances at ex-husband Kanye West’s album events.
“I honestly haven’t talked to [Kourtney and Travis] about it, but I’m assuming because he’s such a big part of Kourtney’s life that they will be on,” Kim said. “I love their relationship, they’ve grown so much together.”
But while Kim is definitely supportive of her sister in this romantic endeavor, she’s not lost on the intensity of the relationship, which is majorly public. It seems like everyday we’re getting new pictures of the two displaying their “affection” for everyone to see. DeGeneres, while riffing, joked, “All of a sudden they can’t keep their hands off each other. What’s wrong with them? They are at it like it’s the last time they’re going to see each other. It’s a lot.”
In response, Kim simply replied with a laugh, “It’s a lot, but it’s so cute.” Not sure if “cute” is the completely accurate verbiage here, but good for them for being in love and having the support of the Kardashian family.
