Prepare to freak out in 3, 2, 1… Kaia Gerber is set to make her debut for season 10 of American Horror Story. One of the key writers from the franchise, Ryan Murphy, announced the model would join the cast on Instagram.

“Very excited to announce that Kaia Gerber is joining the American Horror Story family,” Murphy published on social media. Gerber commented on the post saying, “If I’m dreaming this don’t wake me up.”

Likewise Kaia, likewise.

Deadline reports that the latest season will take on two different stories as opposed to the traditional one theme. It is aptly titled, American Horror Story: Double Feature. Murphy has teased on social media, “Two horrifying stories…one season,” with the storylines to follow, “One by the sea” and “One by the sand.”

Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, has appeared in a number of on-screen projects including Sister Cities and The Last Day of Summer. This newest endeavor will surely pave the way for further mainstream roles in the future for Gerber and we can’t wait.

American Horror Story has been running since October, 2011 and has featured the likes of Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Sarah Paulson and Billy Porter. It even launched the wider acting career of Lady Gaga. The pop artist appeared in the sixth season and portrayed the Scáthach, a bloodthirsty immortal witch.

Amid the release of the sixth season, GRAZIA gained insight into the wardrobe for Gaga.

“When we first get a script from [director] Ryan Murphy, he basically sets the tone and tells us what he wants,” costume designer Lou Eyrich told GRAZIA.  So for Lady Gaga, he said, ‘I want her timeless,’ so she could wear everything from Victorian to modern day, but he was really wanting a 30s, old Hollywood glamour, like Adrienne, who was a big designer of the 20s, 30s, 40s. But then, make it more modern. We shop vintage, we shop new. If it’s vintage, we add new accessories to make it a little more present day. Like, The Countess just pulls from her closet from a 100 years’ worth. Wouldn’t that be awesome?”

Stay tuned for more on Gerber’s character.
