NYC-based friends and fashion designers Shay Johnson and Paula Hess founded Dos Swim in 2019 with the mission of creating high-quality swimwear for themselves and their friends. But as the months—and then years—went by, more and more customers flocked to the brand, enamored of its figure-flattering designs and eye-catching details.
As for the trends they love for summer, Dos Swim’s founders have their eyes on bright colors, thong bikini bottoms, and matching top and bottom capri sets. These days, the founders are keeping busy. “We’re starting to create custom prints,” they tell GRAZIA. “The brand is growing, but we still want to remain low-key and small. Our production runs are limited, and once we sell out, that’s it. We move on to the next collection. That’s how we have run the business since day one.”
