Can you believe that it’s only been nine months since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited in front of our eyeballs? Back in January, when we were all living our lives sans global pandemic, thinking about all of the wonderful things we’d do with the year, exes Brad and Jen were photographed together backstage at the SAG Awards after both taking home trophies.

Just in case anyone’s memory has been wiped, Brad had just won the award for Best Male in a Supporting Role for his appearance in Quentin Tarantino’s critically-acclaimed movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and was lurking around backstage when his ex-wife, Jen, was announced as the winner of Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for The Morning Show – her first-ever SAG Award.

After watching his ex-wife’s acceptance speech on the screen, Jen walked backstage and Brad reportedly hollered ‘Aniston’ to get her attention. A lucky then photographer captured the moment the pair hugged, and, more importantly, the moment Brad grabbed Jen’s arm as she was walking away, both of which obviously went ridiculously viral.

Now, Brad and Jen, very aware of how down in the dumps we all are about the state of the world, have decided to do us a solid and reunite again, via Zoom, naturally.

The former couple has joined a star-studded line-up – which also includes Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, Sean Penn, Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend and Ray Liotta – for a live charity table reading of the ’80s classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Lucky for us, the whole thing will be available to be streamed on TikTok (wow, I’m old) and Facebook on 17 September at 9pm ET (11am AEST).

See you there.
