On paper, Dr. Simon\u00e9 Laubscher seems to have live a charmed life. She\u2019s worked as a naturopath for over 23 years, has a Bachelor of Science in science and nutrition, and counts a bevy of celebs as close personal friends and clients. She founded holistic wellness company, Rejuv Wellness, with her husband Dirk, a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, in London, England. She’s created own brand of vegan<\/a> supplements and now has a second supplement line, Welleco, with her good friend, supermodel Elle Macpherson.<\/p>\n

All that glitters is not gold<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, life hasn\u2019t always been easy for Dr. Laubscher. She tells us that she\u2019s \u201cwalked dark and difficult roads with my own health\u201d. She goes on to say, \u201cI had been an overweight kid and was teased a lot as a child because of it. I did not know how to fix this the healthy way, so I simply stopped eating and developed anorexia in high school. My mum<\/a> also developed breast cancer in my last year of high school so a combination of wanting to get well myself and help heal my mum were the two driving forces behind my studies\u201d.<\/p>\n

She adds that, \u201cMy husband and I also had fertility issues which we resolved naturally, and I had a breast cancer lump four years ago, which I also successfully treated naturally with a better lifestyle and my Rejuv Wellness vegan supplements. This is why I am so passionate about what I do. I love helping others find their road map to healing and get set free to live a life<\/a> they love\u201d.<\/p>\n
