Anna Lahey (AL) is one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past several years we have seen the strenuous rise of\u00a0complex beauty routines. Whether its the endless 12-step products to the latest devices promising everything from sculpted jawlines to flawless skin, it can be quite difficult to keep-up; let alone distinguish between fads and facts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Anna changed that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the founder of Vida Glow, Anna has pioneered a simpler approach to beauty. By focusing on effective, science-backed solutions, she has transformed lengthy beauty regimens into something far more accessible. Whether you&#8217;re looking for a peptide boost, healthier skin, stronger hair, or enhanced overall wellbeing, Vida Glow delivers results without the complexity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Driven by a belief that beauty should be effortless, Anna has built a global brand that empowers people to achieve their beauty goals through simplicity, efficacy, and innovation of marine collagen supplements.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>My current role is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>AL: I&#8217;m the Founder of Vida Glow. I\u2019m also Mum to four little children, including a newborn.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>My favourite subject at school was\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>I did a Bachelor of International and Global Studies, with a double major in International Business and Political Economy. I love learning and particularly enjoyed history, politics and geopolitical relations \u2014 understanding how the world&#8217;s power dynamics shape the way countries and economies interact still influences how I think about building a global brand today.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>My first job was\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>I worked in the apparel industry, primarily in licensing with major brands including Disney. It gave me an early grounding in branding and what it takes to build products people genuinely connect with. More useful than I realised at the time!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>My career path so far has been\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Anything but conventional. And I wouldn&#8217;t have it any other way. I discovered marine collagen after personally experiencing hair loss and seeing transformative results. That led me to launch Vida Glow in 2014 with a single product, Natural Marine Collagen. What started in an apartment with my husband Kieran has grown into a global ingestible beauty brand. There have been learning curves, failures and pivots along the way, but every one of them shaped who we are today.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The role the UAE has played in my career is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The UAE represents a really exciting new chapter for us. We&#8217;re just launching here, and the timing feels right. What strikes me most is how deeply women here understand and appreciate beauty. Not just as aesthetics, but as a genuine form of self-expression and identity. There&#8217;s a real sophistication when it comes to skincare and wellness; women in the UAE are informed, intentional and expect products that actually deliver results. That aligns completely with what Vida Glow stands for, and I can&#8217;t wait to introduce the brand to this market.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The story of Vida Glow is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Vida Glow was born from a personal experience. After struggling with hair loss, I discovered marine collagen while travelling and it was the first thing that delivered real, visible results \u2014 for my hair, my skin, my nails. I became fascinated by the science behind it, invested time in understanding the clinical research, and knew I had to share it. I launched Vida Glow long before ingestible beauty became a mainstream conversation. And we&#8217;ve been building the category ever since.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>I was inspired to enter the wellness space because\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>I experienced first-hand the tangible benefits of collagen. After trying countless products without success, marine collagen was the only thing that delivered visible results for me. Once I understood what I was seeing wasn\u2019t a placebo and there was robust clinical research behind those results, I felt a genuine responsibility to bring it to more people.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>My daily routine consists of\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>I&#8217;m just a few weeks postpartum, so life is beautifully chaotic right now. My routine has to work around a newborn, the school run, and everything in between &#8211; which is exactly the woman Vida Glow was created for. I start every morning with a sachet of Pro Collagen+. Postpartum hair shedding is very real, and collagen is my first line of defence. I always carry sachets of Liquid Collagen + Energy for whenever I need a boost on-the-go. I&#8217;m deeply involved in understanding our customers. My DMs are so valuable. I listen to people\u2019s experiences, identify their beauty concerns and this helps shape the products we bring to market. The customer is always at the centre of every decision we make.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The biggest hurdle I&#8217;ve experienced in my career\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Building credibility in a category that didn&#8217;t exist when we started. We weren&#8217;t just launching a brand, we were creating an entirely new space and convincing people that beauty could be approached from the inside out. That required serious investment in education, clinical research and consumer trials. It took time, but that foundation is exactly what sets Vida Glow apart today.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The biggest milestone I&#8217;ve achieved is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>There have been so many pinch-me moments. Seeing Vida Glow grow from an idea in our apartment into a global brand is something I don&#8217;t take for granted. Launching into the UAE feels like one of those moments. Entering a market with such a strong beauty culture is a real marker of how far the brand has come.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>A quote I live by is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>&#8220;Just start.&#8221;<\/em> No matter what you want to achieve, take the first step. Don&#8217;t wait for perfection \u2014 just begin. You&#8217;ll learn, evolve and figure things out along the way. That mindset is how Vida Glow came to life, and it&#8217;s still how I approach everything.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What I hope for 2026 is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>To keep pushing the boundaries of what&#8217;s possible in ingestible beauty. I want to continue creating science-backed products that genuinely improve people&#8217;s daily lives \u2014 and continue to grow awareness of the category around the world. Launching into the UAE is a big part of that story this year, and I&#8217;m excited to see what this market embraces.
