This is a philosophy that Dr. Dragana Spica has built her career around. Trained across international medical institutions and now based in Dubai, her work sits at the intersection of surgical discipline and artistic intuition.<\/p>\n

Currently leading the Aesthetics division at King\u2019s College Hospital London Dubai, Dr. Spica approaches her practice with the same balance she discovered early on between art and science. It’s a combination of technical precision in the operating theatre and a deep understanding of the emotional impact of helping patients feel confident in their own skin.<\/p>\n

From performing advanced surgical procedures to shaping clinical protocols and mentoring other practitioners, her role extends beyond just the four walls of the clinic.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A plastic Surgeon – I was captivated by the idea of transforming, restoring, and refining the human form. What inspired me wasn\u2019t just the science behind it, but the artistry, the precision, and the possibility of helping someone feel renewed in their own skin.<\/p>\n

That early passion didn\u2019t fade, it evolved into a lifelong commitment to creating harmony, confidence, and natural beauty through the art of aesthetic medicine.<\/p>\n

My favourite subject at school was\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Art and science – perfect duality. Art taught me to observe beauty; science taught me to understand it. My career today is a blend of both.<\/p>\n

My first job was\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A junior plastic surgeon – stepping into the operating theatre with the same awe and ambition I still carry today.<\/p>\n

My career path so far has been\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A remarkable journey across international medical centres, academic institutions, and global aesthetic platforms. I have trained under world\u2011renowned surgeons, developed advanced techniques in body and facial contouring, and built a reputation for precision, natural results, and patient\u2011centred care. My path has taken me from rigorous surgical residencies to directing an aesthetic hospital branch in one of the world\u2019s most competitive medical hubs.<\/p>\n

My daily routine consists of\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Balancing surgical\/ Non-surgical mastery with leadership. Mornings begin with patient assessments and detailed treatment planning. My afternoons are dedicated to surgeries, teaching, and guiding my team. Throughout the day, I remain committed to innovation, safety, and offering each patient a personalised, refined experience.<\/p>\n

My role entails\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Shaping aesthetic medicine standards, setting protocols rooted in evidence\u2011based practice, mentoring surgeons and aesthetic practitioners, and ensuring every patient receives care that is meticulous, ethical, and internationally benchmarked. My work spans clinical excellence, strategic direction, and elevating the hospital\u2019s aesthetic identity.<\/p>\n

The biggest hurdle I have experienced in my career\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Stepping into leadership positions in an industry where precision, consistency, and innovation are expected at every moment. Navigating international medical systems and maintaining unwavering standards while continuously evolving has been both a challenge and a privilege.<\/p>\n

The biggest milestone I have achieved is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Becoming Medical Director at Director Aesthetics by Kings College Hospital London Dubai, and establishing myself as an international figure in advanced plastic surgery and aesthetic refinement. Leading a centre of excellence while shaping aesthetic outcomes for patients around the world remains one of my proudest achievements.<\/p>\n

A quote I live by is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cThere are no impregnable fortresses, only bad conquerors.\u201d A reminder that discipline, strategy, and resilience conquer all challenges.<\/p>\n

The biggest lesson I\u2019ve learned is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

That true aesthetic excellence doesn\u2019t come from changing a face or body, it comes from understanding the person behind it. Precision is technical; beauty is emotional. Both must coexist.<\/p>\n

What I hope for in 2026 is\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n
