There are few travel experiences where you can say it\u2019s a moment that was specifically and meticulously planned to cater to you. But for the pairing of Flexjet\u2019s new Riva Volare interiors with Cheval Blanc Seychelles\u2019 opening, it\u2019s a bespoke journey from door-to-door like no other. Think of it as a meeting point between high craft, sky-high style (quite literally) and the quiet sophistication of one of the world\u2019s most luxurious resort groups.<\/p>\n

Stepping onto the new Flexjet Gulfstream G650, in collaboration with the Ferretti Group, is arguably something out of a fantasy and introduces you to one of the most striking cabin concepts in aviation history \u2013 Riva Volare, an homage to the iconic Riva motoryachts. The jet itself, which boasts an ultra long-range 14 to 16 hours\u2019 flying time, features sleek interiors with high-gloss stripped wood veneers echoing the design of a yacht foredeck, while the silken carpeting mimics the movement of motor yachts cutting through water. With artisanal materials and bold patterns and textures paired with exquisite onboard hospitality (there\u2019s even Riva glassware, china and servers), the Riva nautical refinement is rendered airborne.<\/p>\n

Once firmly on the ground on Mah\u00e9 Island, the sensibility, refinement and design of the journey is echoed in the newest Maison by Cheval Blanc. With 52 villas tucked between white sand, jungle green and the vast Indian Ocean, Cheval Blanc Seychelles brings island living to a whole new level. Designed by the endlessly talented Jean-Michel Gathy, who is the architect behind its Maldives sibling Maison Cheval Blanc Randheli, the resort is an ode to the textures and palette of the Seychelles, paired with contemporary architecture. Villas feature private 12.5-metre swimming pools with uninterrupted ocean views for many \u2013 and whether you\u2019re set along the beach or hidden in the hillside, it\u2019s a cocooned, private experience for which Cheval Blanc is globally renowned. Art masterpieces also take centre stage at the Maison, with pieces by Malagasy artist Jo\u00ebl Andrianomearisoa and French artist Prune Nourry scattered subtly throughout the property, which adds a sculptural rhythm to the space.<\/p>\n

The vast architectural landscape is echoed in the equally vast culinary landscape, with five dining concepts at Cheval Blanc Seychelles. Le White brings cosmopolitan dining to island living, while Vivamento invites the warmth of Italian cuisine to the Seychelles. Then you\u2019ll discover exquisite Mediterranean dishes at Sula or journey to Japan at Mizumi. Or be welcomed into the home of Cheval Blanc in France with decadent French gastronomy at Le 1947.<\/p>\n

While the entire Maison offers an escape from reality, guests are invited to take it one step further at the Cheval Blanc Spa, which features eight treatment rooms offering rituals inspired by the island\u2019s natural beauty, all harnessing the power of Guerlain\u2019s five-star products.<\/p>\n
