From beachfront escapes to urban icons, GRAZIA rounds up seven of the most exciting luxury hotel openings happening in the UAE this year.<\/p>\n

Six Senses The Palm<\/h3>\n

Another big name coming to Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, the Six Senses is set to bring its wellness-first philosophy to a major city hotspot. Inspired by one of Dubai’s most precious natural resources: coral reefs and the ecosystems they support, the undulating rooflines and cellular facades echo the organic form and beauty of our environment. A hotel built for community, connection and families, the resort will feature multiple bars and restaurants, a kids’ club, pools, games rooms and of course, the brand’s signature Six Senses Spa.<\/p>\n

Gran Melia, Port De La Mer<\/h3>\n

The best of both worlds, Gran Meli\u00e1, Port de la Mer, sits along the sun-drenched shores of La Mer, while remaining just a short drive away from DIFC, one of the city’s most vibrant dining hubs. Inspired by the form of an oyster, the hotel’s fluid architecture opens seamlessly towards the sea, framing panoramic views. Set to become a destination in its own right, the resort is expected to welcome of the region’s hottest dining concepts including, Zuma Beach House and Park Chinois. With a 140-meter stretch of private beach and state-of-the-art facilities, this resort is equal parts coastal escape and culinary jackpot.<\/p>\n

The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts<\/h3>\n

What used to be the Anantara Eastern Mangroves is now being reimagined as the Mangroves Abu Dhabi LXR Hotel, set to reopen in 2026. Marking a refining moment in Hilton’s luxury LXR collection, the resort is nestled by the National Mangrove park, encasing the hotel in luscious natural mangroves. The mangroves are home to more than 60 bird species, alongside wildlife including turtles and dolphins, offering nature in its most authentic form. Despite its tranquil setting, the resort remains just minutes from Abu Dhabi’s cultural landmarks, including the Louvre and a wealth of dining destinations.<\/p>\n

Mondrian Abu Dhabi<\/h3>\n

Located in Abu Dhabi’s bustling downtown, Ennismore’s Mondrian Abu Dhabi marks the brand’s debut in the UAE. Designed by Tristan du Plessis, the striking waterfront tower brings a bold and modern take to the capital’s skyline. Placing guests at the centre of Abu Dhabi’s happenings, the hotel hosts 210 statement suites, each offering sweeping views of the skyline or canal, overlooking both Reem Island and Al Maryah Island. Along with modern design, Mondrian sets the tone for modern wellness with a cutting-edge spa, rooftop pool and crystal lagoon.<\/p>\n

Four Seasons Al Zorah<\/h3>\n

A joint venture between Al Zorah Development Company and the renowned Four Seasons Hotels, Four Seasons Al Zorah is taking over what used to be the Oberoi Al Zorah. Reopening in 2026, the hotel is set within a serene coastal enclave, offering a slower, more nature-led expression of luxury, just a short 45-minute drive away from Dubai. Expect 74 expansive sea-facing suites, tranquil spa treatments designed for unhurried rituals, an outdoor oasis framed by the Arabian Gulf and delicious curated dining moments.<\/p>\n

Kimpton Dubai<\/h3>\n

Set to open in the first quarter of 2026, Kimpton Dubai marks IHG Hotels and Resorts’ debut of the Kimpton brand in the UAE. Located along the Business By Canal, this community-led and contemporary hotel is expected to be a stunner. With a design-forward philosophy, the hotel will feature 280 suites, three dining concepts (currently under wraps), and a rooftop pool offering panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline. With its signature lifestyle-led approach, Kimpton is set to bring fresh energy to Business Bay’s sea of high-rises.<\/p>\n

Baccarat Residences Dubai<\/h3>\n

Pure ultra-luxury, Baccarat Residences is set to introduce a new level of Parisian glamour to the city. Arriving in Downtown Dubai, the brand expands its debut tower, Le Rouge, with the announcement of a second tower housing more private residences, as well as the Baccarat Hotel Dubai. The 144-key hotel is defined by bold and sculptural architecture by Studio Libeskind, with angled glass fa\u00e7ades designed to echo the brilliance of finely cut crystal. A direct homage to Baccarat’s 260 years of heritage, this hotel is set to exude Baccarat luxury from top to
