British designer Stella McCartney<\/a> is set to close Riyadh Fashion Week<\/a> this weekend, marking her first-ever show in Saudi Arabia and one of the most talked-about moments of the season.<\/p>\n

Known for her effortless blend of sustainability and feminine designs, the show promises to be a memorable moment for both the designer and the region.<\/p>\n

Now in its third edition, Riyadh Fashion Week has become one of the most exciting events within the global fashion calendar.<\/p>\n

This year includes a line-up of celebrating local talent alongside international names, reflecting the city’s development, ready to create the narrative around the next chapter of style in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

McCartney\u2019s show, set to be on October 21, will focus on pieces from her latest collection as well as key pieces from her archival collection, showcasing the old and the new, showcasing how fashion can move forward without losing its authenticity.<\/p>\n

Expect sculptural tailoring, flowing silhouettes and innovative fabrics, which tell a story of sustainability, but on the sophisticated side. Almost every piece of the collection is made with sourced fabrics or mycelium-based vegan leathers or recycled fabrics, or dead stock textiles. Celebrating that fashion can be responsible and stylish.<\/p>\n

Her closing act follows the powerful opening of Vivienne Westwood, framing the week with two iconic British designers who have both changed the narrative of what fashion can represent these days.<\/p>\n
