Surely this tale cannot get any more bizarre, but with the fresh twist I am about to report, perhaps it can. Following his split with Jennifer Lopez earlier this year, Alex Rodriguez was spotted at the weekend leaving Katie Holmes’ New York City apartment building – home to the actress and 15-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.<\/p>\n

With 2021 shaping up to be the year of unexpected celebrity couples<\/a>, fans were quick to assume there was a new love interest in the mix. And to be honest, us too.<\/p>\n

E! News<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>reached out to Homes’ team for confirmation with a rep quickly replying, “She doesn’t know him.”<\/p>\n

You can’t blame anyone for jumping to conclusions. Holmes’ parted ways with 42-year-old Emilio Vitolo Jr. last month. The couple began dating amid the pandemic with the turbo relationship ending due to mounting commitments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As for ARod, he published a statement<\/a> on social media in May in response to ‘Bennifer’.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am about to step into a new beginning in my life,\u201d Rodriguez posted to his Instagram stories. \u201cAnything that doesn\u2019t serve me is clearing out of my life. New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Naturally, we’re still skeptical on this so-called coincidence but according to\u00a0Page Six<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Rodriguez is house hunting in Manhattan around the Tribecca and Upper West Side areas. He was seen dining alone at Bar Pitti on June 5.<\/p>\n

Last week a source for\u00a0<\/a>E! News<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>revealed Lopez would be packing up her Miami rental to move to Los Angeles for Affleck, perhaps proof her renewed relationship with the actor is gaining traction for the longterm.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe will be between LA and the Hamptons this summer, but LA will be her base,\u201d the source told the publication. \u201cShe is looking at schools for her kids in the fall. She is excited about a fresh start and pursuing things with Ben.
