Fashion month is fast approaching, and first up on the international calendar is Dubai.<\/p>\n

Set to take place from September 1 to 6, Dubai Fashion Week<\/a> will once again take over Dubai Design District (D3) with over 30 shows scheduled.<\/p>\n

What is Dubai Fashion Week?<\/h3>\n

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) is the official platform for fashion in Dubai, and hosts the city’s official fashion week. Now being recognised as part of the <\/span>international fashion calendar, alongside New York, London, Milan, and Paris.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), TECOM Group and the Arab Fashion Council, Dubai Fashion Week has flourished into a city-wide movement offering runways, invite-only presentations, collection launches and branded events.<\/p>\n

THE SS26 SCHEDULE<\/h3>\n

To mark the SS26 season, Dubai Fashion Week will welcome a slew of ready-to-wear and couture brands to the runway.<\/p>\n

Weinsanto (France), supported by the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, British Iraqi designer Tara Babylon, Les Benjamins, Dima Ayad, Lili Blanc, Mrs. Keepa, Lama Jouni, BLSSD, Linen Obsession and much more are set to return to DFW.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Maison Novague from Germany, Chic & Holland from the Netherlands and XD Xenia from Croatia will make their debuts in Dubai.<\/p>\n

As for couture labels, Maison Rizman Ruzaini from Malaysia makes a return to the DFW runway, as well as Heba Jasmi, Michael Cinco, Kresha Bajaj and Erick Benda\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

This season marks an “expanded edition of Dubai Fashion Week”, as noted by Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3).<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a rich legacy of influencing the regional landscape, DFW is actively championing sustainability, innovation, and diversity in the global design narrative, cementing Dubai\u2019s position as the destination of choice for fashion and creative talent from around the world,” she added.<\/p>\n

This sentiment was also echoed by\u00a0Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of Arab Fashion Council.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith new countries joining our runway, a strengthened Buyers Programme, and transformative conversations led by Threads Talks, this season represents a powerful evolution of our platform,” he explained. “We\u2019re not just showcasing collections \u2013 we\u2019re building a creative economy rooted in diversity, design diplomacy, and long-term commercial impact. DFW SS26 is a bold statement of where fashion is going, and the world is watching.\u201d<\/p>\n
