Hailey Bieber opened up to Vogue Italia<\/em><\/a> this week in a refreshingly candid conversation about motherhood, her marriage<\/a>, and living life under constant public scrutiny.<\/p>\n

The Rhode founder<\/a> spent time discussing her experience with pregnancy and postpartum, as well as the constant speculation surrounding her and her husband Justin Bieber.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hailey gave birth to her son Jack Blues Bieber<\/a> in August of last year, and according to the mogul it was one of the most difficult periods of her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cGiving birth was the hardest thing I\u2019ve ever done,\u201d she shared regarding her difficult 18-hour labour. She described her medically induced labour, and experiencing postpartum haemorrhaging afterwards, as well as the time that came after.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing postpartum is the most sensitive time I\u2019ve ever gone through in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, spending time working on recovery has Hailey in a better place one year on. \u201cThere\u2019s an ease that comes with it, a confidence,\u201d she stated, describing the strength that motherhood provides her with now.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou really start to give less of a fuck about so many things,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

The model also went on to describe how the birth of Jack strengthened<\/a> her and Justin\u2019s relationship too. Reiterating that most of what is written<\/a> about her marriage holds little truth.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing on the internet every day and people being like, \u2018They\u2019re getting divorced\u2019 and \u2018They\u2019re this\u2019 and \u2018They\u2019re not happy\u2019, it is such a mindfuck,\u201d she explained. \u201cI cannot even begin to explain it. It\u2019s a crazy life to live.\u201d<\/p>\n

Justin also chimed in with a comment for the interview, telling the publication, \u201cI\u2019ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I\u2019ve done was marry Hailey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding what life looks like for the family of three at the moment, Hailey described spending her time cooking and experimenting with new recipes for Jack, as well as hiding out in the \u201csanctuary\u201d that is their Palm Springs home.<\/p>\n
