Every year, players don their all-whites on the perfectly manicured grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, while celebrities and royals alike descend on the other side in their crisp linens, sundresses, and adjacent preppy attire for the Wimbledon Championships<\/a>. Despite being the third of four major tennis Grand Slams during the year (which include the Australian, French, and US Open), the event has a distinct and unmatched persona.<\/p>\n

The oldest tennis tournament in the world has cultivated a reputation for its chic courtside looks<\/a>,\u00a0featuring names such as\u00a0Zendaya<\/a>,\u00a0Alexa Chung<\/a>, and\u00a0Daisy Edgar Jones<\/a>, as well as British royals like\u00a0Kate Middleton<\/a>\u00a0and the late\u00a0Queen Elizabeth<\/a>, all of whom have made<\/span>\u00a0their mark in the event\u2019s style archives.<\/p>\n

Thus far, some of this year\u2019s notable attendees include Jessica Alba<\/a>, David Beckham<\/a>, Eddie Redmayne, and Princess Beatrice<\/a>, though we\u2019re sure to see more to come. With the tournament having kicked off on June 30 and continuing until July 13, we can expect to see many elegant sartorial displays over the next two weeks, without overshadowing the displays of athleticism, of course.<\/p>\n
