In June,\u00a0Herm\u00e8s\u00a0headed east to present the second chapter of its Fall\/Winter 2025 collection, selecting\u00a0Shanghai\u00a0as its setting. More specifically, the French luxury brand presented its latest fashion show along Shanghai\u2019s North Bund Bay, with the city\u2019s futuristic skyline serving as its backdrop.<\/p>\n

The collection that came down the runway offered more of what we first saw (and loved) at\u00a0Herm\u00e8s\u2019s FW25 show at Paris Fashion Week<\/a>\u2014lots of layering, with cardigans tied around the waist over quilted leather shorts, biker jackets paired with leather vests, and long wool coats enveloping ensembles of sensual knit tops and leather pants or zippered leather skirts. This time, Herm\u00e8s artistic director Nad\u00e8ge Vanh\u00e9e also added plenty of zest: the colour palette of the collection included a vibrant Herm\u00e8s orange, a complementary lilac, and Rouge H, the rich burgundy shade that Vanh\u00e9e memorably used in the brand\u2019s\u00a0Spring\/Summer 2024 collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also new and exciting? The accessories, of course. The second part of the Herm\u00e8s FW25 collection featured fresh iterations of the Kelly bag, unexpected stylings of the brand\u2019s statement silk scarves, and, if you can believe it, glittering knee-high boots.<\/p>\n

Ahead, we spotlight all the best accessories we spotted from the Herm\u00e8s FW25 show in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

Herm\u00e8s Headphones<\/h3>\n

Herm\u00e8s\u2019s headphones were first teased in May, but we only got to see the audio accessory in action at Herm\u00e8s\u2019s Shanghai fashion show. The headphones are developed by the French luxury brand\u2019s Ateliers Horizons workshop\u2014which has also created a jukebox, a DJ console and boats\u2014and are inspired by the Herm\u00e8s Kelly handbag. As seen on the runway, the headphones are crafted with hand-stitched cowhide leather and feature metallic finishes. The Bluetooth headphones come in an array of colours that match the collection, along with a hefty price tag of US$15,000 (Dhs55,000).<\/p>\n

Clout\u00e9 Mini Kelly bags<\/h3>\n

For this second chapter, Herm\u00e8s turned the spotlight on the Mini Kelly Bag, showcasing the accessory styled in unexpected ways. Some were worn high on the chest, almost like a necklace, while others were looped around the waist like a belt bag. It wasn\u2019t just the hands-free styling that was exciting. Herm\u00e8s has also introduced new Clout\u00e9 Mini Kelly bags covered in metal studs. These edgy bags, which also match the biker inspirations of the collection, are sure to get everyone talking.<\/p>\n

The Kelly bag took on new forms elsewhere in the collection. Some of the bigger handbags were accessorised with leather bottle holders, which served both a practical and an aesthetic purpose with their bold colours. Herm\u00e8s also offered a pared-back version of the Kelly handbag without its statement hardware. Its minimalist design, you could say, is a symbol of even quieter luxury.<\/p>\n

Dressage Tressage silk scarves<\/h3>\n

The braid is a major motif of this second chapter. Inspired by equestrian plaits, braiding appeared along the leather collars of jackets, or in the design of Herm\u00e8s\u2019s Dressage Tressage silk carr\u00e9s. Those silk scarves were worn in fun ways that will speak to Gen Z shoppers, be it as a tube top around the body, or as ear warmers worn over caps. Some models even sported braids tightly woven with the Herm\u00e8s silk scarf. One thing is clear: as classic as an Herm\u00e8s silk carr\u00e9 may be, it still offers plenty of surprises.<\/p>\n

Glitter riding boots<\/h3>\n

There are a lot of signs that the Herm\u00e8s woman is evolving under Vanhee\u2019s tenure (the maison\u2019s sexy Spring\/Summer 2025 collection<\/a>\u00a0is pretty telling). But nothing has made that shift clearer than the presence of glittering boots at Herm\u00e8s\u2019s Shanghai fashion show. The sparkling shoes were seen in a couple of looks, offering a glitzy alternative to the laced-up leather riding boots that other models strutted in. The glitter boots are perfect for the Herm\u00e8s woman who also happens to be a big fan of\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s\u00a0Cowboy Carter<\/em>\u00a0era<\/a>.<\/p>\n
