Gigi Hadid has fully embraced the (Northern Hemisphere\u2019s) summer-ready vibes this week. While this\u00a0Hadid sister is better known for her Fall fashion<\/a>, it looks like we might have a Gigi summer on the way, too.<\/span> Despite the rainy state of New York City, the model stepped out in an elegantly eclectic look, featuring an unexpected yet ever-so-aestival shoe choice.<\/p>\n

On the way to Soho\u2019s Altro Paradiso to celebrate her collaboration with Havaianas<\/a>, the model inevitably opted for a pair of yellow flip-flops<\/a> from the brand itself, topped off with a pale green pedicure.<\/p>\n

The butter-yellow shoes were paired with a white tweed Marc Jacobs<\/a> minidress, featuring vibrant scattered crystals. Continuing with her sartorial vision of beachy glamour, the model wore asymmetrical drop earrings, chunky bangles, beaded bracelets and anklets, and a beaded Staud<\/a> bag as the cherry on top. And of course, her manicure matched her standout yellow shoes.<\/p>\n

The addition of a flipped-up bob helped to add an overall polished and elevated feel to the more eclectic aesthetic on display.<\/p>\n

Hadid announced<\/a> her global ambassadorship with Havaianas in March of this year, unveiling a collection of retro-inspired flip-flops from the brand. While the yellow pair aren\u2019t from her collection, they are a staple of the brand’s standard flip-flops. As the supermodel herself has said<\/a>, \u201c[they\u2019re] iconic for a reason\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether it\u2019s my shorts to go to volleyball practice, or jeans to go get a smoothie, or a dress, it feels like me to put on Havaianas,\u201d she told Elle<\/em> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The model also described ahead of her collaboration, the ways she would style her Havaianas, with one example sounding all too familiar. Now, she provides a chic visual demonstration.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could wear a little dress with a flip-flop and an anklet\u2014that can be fine jewellery, or you can funk it up with something beaded or costume jewellery,\u201d she suggested at the time.<\/p>\n
