Blue jeans and a white T-shirt; there is perhaps no look more tried, tested, and refurbished. And with her\u00a0off-duty model street style<\/a>, Kendall Jenner\u00a0<\/span>is a regular partaker of the look and its many iterations.<\/span> This time around, though, she\u2019s brought the denim shape of the season into the mix.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday night, the model was seen with Hailey Bieber<\/a> donning a casual evening look comprising the elevated basic. She wore a signature cropped white crewneck T-shirt with low-slung barrel jeans in dark denim.\u00a0The look was the ideal fusion of casual and on-trend, paired with two other season favourites\u2014black\u00a0ballet flats<\/a>\u00a0and oval \u2014and a tan shoulder bag from\u00a0The Row<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Inspired by 1920s French workwear, the barrel jean consists of a wide-legged style that curves out, creating an elongated and distinct silhouette, and then tapers at the ankle. Despite its divisiveness, the style has dominated denim trends at a lightning pace after its modern revival in Ala\u00efa’s<\/a> FW23 collection, and has been seen on many an arbiter of taste.<\/p>\n

From a subtle balloon-legged look to the exaggerated horseshoe cut, there is a make suited for anyone looking for an everyday statement piece. For those who have been left wondering how to incorporate the trend into their wardrobe, Jenner models a dip into the shallow yet ever-so-stylish end of its waters.<\/p>\n

For her part, Bieber brought her own elevated basics to the girls\u2019 night. Wearing a white tee, flared trousers, and a leather moto jacket, the Rhode<\/a> mogul accessorised with heeled sandals and a Mercedes-Benz<\/a> cap. Though she decided not to twin with Jenner this time, she has also been known to rock the barrel jean occasionally.<\/p>\n
